Our DJs and singers have much experience in getting gatherings roused when it comes to your wedding reception. However, the guests are waiting for the bride and groom to do their first dance. As daunting as it may seem, we have some steps you can go through to make your moves work for you:
1. Pick a song special to you both

2. Practice a few moves
While you don't need to take lessons, practising some moves before the day will help things run more smoothly. If doing a big and fun routine is more your thing, then getting private lessons is ideal and can make a fun way to begin the evening.
3. Enjoy the moment
No matter how shy you feel or how daunting getting up in front of everyone is - especially if it isn't your thing, just go with the flow and enjoy the moment. If you make a mistake, just laugh it off because, at the end of it all, it's your day.
When Does the Dancing Begin?
Our best wedding MCs will be able to offer you advice on the order of your evening, but that doesn't mean you can't organise it to suit your needs. If dancing together first is really the part of the day you want to get over with, there are a couple of ways to get it done early:
Enter your celebration to a fun song that your guests can cheer and clap to, and then you and your guests can all head straight to the floor.
Make it the first item on the night's plan; that way, there is less time to get nervous.
